Meet Dan Hultquist, reverse mortgage educator and advocate. While known for his insightful books on the topic, Dan has also personally trained over 10,000 mortgage originators, agents, advisors, and regulators.
Despite his busy life, Dan enjoys curling up with federal regulations, and plays with FHA Mortgagee Letters like gifts on Christmas morning.
A Penn State alum with an MBA from Kennesaw State, Dan recently returned to Pennsylvania where he can hear the distant roar of Nittany Lions.

Pioneer in Reverse Mortgage Technology
Jeff is a pioneer in reverse mortgage technology and one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. In the late ’90s, he created the first-ever software application comparing HECM and proprietary products side by side — used widely across the industry, including by HUD counselors.
He served on the inaugural NRMLA Board in 1997 and has consulted with and designed software for major reverse mortgage platforms.
