Your Role: As a Reverse Mortgage Loan Originator at Luminate Bank, you’ll work directly with seniors to help them understand how reverse mortgage solutions can bring financial clarity and flexibility to their retirement years. You’re not just processing loans—you’re providing guidance that helps people move into the next chapter with confidence. The Fed Charter allows for you to originate HECM loans and forward mortgages in all 50 states.
What You’ll Do:
- Build meaningful relationships with seniors, referral partners, and professional networks to connect with customers who need guidance
- Conduct consultations that simplify complex financial concepts and help customers see their options clearly
- Guide customers through the loan application process with patience, expertise, and support at every step
- Collaborate with our operations team to ensure smooth, stress-free closings
- Accurately structure and price loans in accordance with Luminate Bank guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Manage customer information and loan data in our origination system
- Stay current on reverse mortgage products, market trends, and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of full-time reverse mortgage origination experience with a proven track record
- Active NMLS license
- Deep understanding of reverse mortgage products and the loan origination process
- Exceptional communication skills—you can explain the complex in a way that feels simple
- Self-motivated professional with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Natural relationship-builder who creates trust with customers and referral partners
- Experience pricing and structuring reverse mortgage loans
- Authorized to work in the United States
